Roman Power:: [link] The Nova Dragon Swords (about 52" in length); can reduce their size and bulk to (about) 32" short swords and (about) 17" daggers. They have the ability to 'Clone' another weapon's inherant shape, size, color, magical abilities, speed and (some-limited) higher magical properties. their ability to absorb and return magical abilities is (strictly) limited by the skill-level of the weilder. higher mages and arcane wizards can often use the magical abilities absorbed by the Nova Dragons. This ability can be used through the Nova Dragons against a very powerful enemy and acts much like the "Drainlife" spell. This is a very costly move, as it takes all the will power of the weilder/user/caster. if the weilder loses concentration for any reason, the Nova Dragons extract Life-Force from the weilder/caster in order to re-cast the absorbed magical power(s). a non magical character may find that the Nova Dragon Swords are nothing more than very fancy (and sharp) weapons. Although some non-magical users have also found them to be extremly powerful. their is a 1 in 10 chance (for non-magic users) of summoning Gorlamon via the Nova Dragon swords. even as non-magical weapons they can easily destroy many enemies in a single blow!! The swords weigh next to nothing and are nearly razor thin throughout the blade. In Stage 1 the Nova Dragons are (already) sentient and can "talk" to their "Master" through telepathic communication. no one (except for the weilder) can hear this voice. |
